Privacy Policy
The short version
Dealready prepares salespeople for meetings. To do that, it works with information you give it: the companies you meet, the people in the room, and your notes about how meetings went. We use that information for one purpose, building your playbooks, debriefs, and drafts. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and we don't use your data to train AI models. Before the app sends anything for AI research the first time, it asks your permission, and you can delete everything from inside the app at any time.
Who we are and what this covers
Dealready is operated by Versatile Artificial Intelligence LLC ("we", "us"), a limited liability company registered in the United States. This policy covers the Dealready iPhone app and the Dealready pages on this website. Use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement. Questions or requests: info@versai.live.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Your seller profile: your company's website address, what you sell, who you sell to, and how experienced you are in your role. The app builds this profile from your website during setup, and you can correct it.
- Meeting details you enter: the company you are meeting and its website, the meeting goal and time, and the names and titles of the people who will be in the room.
- Meeting notes and transcripts: the written recap or transcript you paste in for a debrief, and your own notes on where a deal stands.
- Account information: you can look around the app and open the example playbooks without an account, and you sign in before building your own. When you sign in with Apple, we receive an identifier from Apple, plus your email address and name if you choose to share them. Apple lets you hide your real email address. If we offer sign-in by email code or text message, we receive the email address or phone number you enter. We never receive your Apple password.
- Support requests: anything you include when you email us.
Information collected automatically
- A device identifier that links your playbooks to your phone and keeps the free plan's limits accurate. It is a random value created on your device and stored in its secure keychain, designed to stay the same if you delete and reinstall the app. It is not Apple's advertising identifier, and it is not used for advertising or to track you across other apps. When you sign in, usage counted against this phone is combined with your account's, so the free plan's limit is the same whichever account you sign in with on it. Playbooks made on the phone by an earlier version of the app are attached to your account.
- App version and device type, sent with each request and with error reports.
- Error reports: if the app hits a problem, it sends us the error message, a technical stack trace, the screen it happened on, your app version, and your device type, linked to your device or account identifier so we can fix it. Error reports never include your transcripts, playbooks, or company names.
- Purchase history, if you buy Dealready Pro or extra playbooks: which plan or pack, when, whether a subscription is active, and the App Store's transaction reference. Payment itself is handled by Apple; we never see your card or billing details.
- Your IP address. Our server uses it, in memory and for no longer than a day, to limit how many requests one connection can make and stop abuse. Our own application logs do not record it. Our hosting provider's network logs may record it briefly, as every internet service's do, to route and protect traffic.
- Technical logs needed to run and debug the service: timestamps, request status, and short pseudonymous references. Logs do not contain company names, meeting content, your email address, or your name, and our hosting provider keeps them only for a limited period.
- Update checks: the app checks for updates to its own code through Expo's update service. Those checks carry your app version, platform, and a random installation identifier, nothing about your playbooks.
Calendar information (optional, only if you turn on calendar prep)
- With your permission and read-only access, the app reads the titles and start times of your upcoming events on your phone so you can pick a meeting to prepare for. Your calendar is not uploaded. When you pick an event, its title is used on your phone to start the playbook chat and to schedule a reminder; only the meeting's start time is sent to us with that playbook. We never create, edit, or delete calendar events, and we never contact your attendees.
Notifications (optional)
- Meeting reminders and follow-up nudges are created and delivered on your phone by iOS. They are not sent through our servers.
- If you allow notifications, your phone's push notification token is stored on our server so we can tell you when a playbook or a debrief has finished. Those messages are delivered through Expo's push service and contain only the company name. Turning notifications off in iOS Settings stops them, and the token is dropped when it stops working.
Public research about the companies and people you name
- To build a playbook, the AI searches the public web (company websites, news, and public professional information) for the company you are meeting and the people you named. What it finds is stored only in your playbook and shown only to you. The names and titles you enter are information about other people; enter only what you are permitted to use in a business context.
If you join our launch list
If you enter your email address in the launch form on our website, we keep it so we can tell you when Dealready is available. If you arrived from an advertisement, we also keep which campaign it was. We use this only to send you news about the Dealready launch. To be removed, email info@versai.live at any time.
What we do not collect
The app does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location, does not use Apple's advertising identifier, and contains no third-party analytics or advertising software. These pages on our website set no cookies and use no analytics.
How we use your information
- To research the companies and people you are meeting and generate your playbooks.
- To analyze your meeting notes and generate debrief coaching and follow-up email drafts.
- To carry context between your meetings with the same account ("deal memory"), visible only to you.
- To keep your playbooks available across reinstalls and, if you sign in, across your devices.
- To apply the free plan's limits, the Pro allowance, and your purchases.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service, and to respond to your support requests.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell or rent your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. Everything the AI writes is a suggestion for you to review.
AI processing
Dealready's research and coaching are powered by Anthropic's Claude models through Anthropic's commercial API. The information needed to build your playbook or debrief (your seller profile, meeting details, and meeting notes or transcripts) is sent to Anthropic for processing. As part of research, Claude also searches the public web and reads public web pages; those searches contain the company and attendee names you entered, not your account details.
Under Anthropic's commercial terms, Anthropic does not use inputs or outputs from its API to train its models, and it deletes them from its systems within 30 days, sooner where possible, keeping them in the meantime only to detect abuse and meet legal obligations.
Your permission. The app explains this and asks for your permission before it sends anything for research the first time. If you decline, nothing is sent, and the app cannot build playbooks or debriefs until you agree. You can withdraw your permission at any time by deleting your account in the app, which also erases what you sent, or by emailing us; after that the app will not send anything further for research.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that run Dealready, each of which may use it only to provide its service to us. Each provider is bound, by contract or by its published terms, to protect your information at least as well as this policy does.
- Anthropic (United States): AI processing, as described above.
- Railway (United States): cloud hosting for our server and database.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, if you use it (Apple confirms who you are and gives us an identifier, plus your email and name if you share them), and all payments for Pro and extra playbooks.
- RevenueCat (United States): manages App Store subscriptions and purchases for us. It receives your account or device identifier and your purchase history from Apple, never your payment details.
- Expo (United States): delivers updates to the app's code, as described above, and, if you allow notifications, carries the "your playbook is ready" notifications to your phone using its push token.
- Resend (email) or Twilio (text message), only if we offer sign-in by one-time code and you use it. They receive your email address or phone number and the code, to deliver it.
- Netlify (United States): hosts this website. If you join our launch list, it receives the email address you enter, stores it for us, and screens the form for spam.
- Company logo lookups. To show a company's logo, our server asks the company's own website and the public icon services run by Google and DuckDuckGo, using only the company's website address. Nothing that identifies you is sent.
We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of our users, our company, or the public. If our company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer with it, and this policy would continue to apply until you are told otherwise.
Where your information is stored
Our server and database are hosted by Railway in the United States, and Anthropic processes AI requests in the United States. If you use Dealready from outside the United States, your information is transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. By using the app you agree to that transfer. Dealready is currently offered only in the countries listed on its App Store page.
Retention and deletion
Your playbooks, debriefs, and drafts are stored so you can return to them. They remain until you delete your account or ask us to remove them. Sign-in sessions expire after 180 days without use. Error reports are kept only as long as needed to diagnose problems. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to help you and keep a record of the request. Launch list email addresses are kept until you ask us to remove yours, or until we stop sending launch news, whichever comes first.
Delete your account in the app: tap the account icon at the top of the home screen and choose Delete account. This immediately and permanently erases your account, your sign-in details, and every playbook, debrief, and email draft stored under it, and clears them from your phone. If you signed in with Apple, it also disconnects Dealready from your Apple Account. Unused extra playbooks are lost. It cannot be undone.
After deletion we keep only what prevents abuse and what the law requires, none of it readable as you: usage counts (how many playbooks were used, and when, so the free plan and monthly allowance cannot be reset by deleting and re-creating an account), whether a founding-member seat was claimed, and records of purchases (what was bought, when, and the store's transaction reference) for refunds, taxes, and accounting. These are stored against a one-way keyed value that cannot be turned back into your email, phone number, or identity. Usage counts tied to your phone's device identifier also remain, for the same reason.
If you never signed in, or want anything else removed, email info@versai.live and we will complete the deletion within 30 days. Routine database backups are overwritten within 7 days.
Your choices
- AI research: the app asks before sending anything the first time. Withdraw permission by deleting your account or emailing us.
- Calendar: disconnect it from the Calendar screen in the app, or in iPhone Settings under Dealready, turn off Calendars.
- Reminders: in iPhone Settings, open Notifications, then Dealready.
- Sign-in: sign out or delete your account from the account screen. Signing in is never required.
- Subscriptions: manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings, or from the Plan screen in the app.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@versai.live from the email address on your account, or with enough detail for us to find your data if you never signed in. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, we respond within 30 days, and we will never treat you differently for exercising these rights.
California residents. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not track you across other websites or apps, and no third party collects personal information about you through the app or these pages over time and across sites. Because there is nothing to turn off, the app and these pages do not change their behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. The rights above are available to you, and you may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.
Residents of other states with privacy laws, such as Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Virginia, may exercise the same rights in the same way. You may also have the right to appeal a decision we make about your request by replying to our response.
Security
All data moves between your device and our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Your sign-in session and device identifier are stored in your phone's secure keychain. Access to production systems is limited to what is needed to operate the service, and secrets are stored in our hosting provider's protected configuration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Children
Dealready is a professional tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and tell you in the app or on this page before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Dealready after that means you accept the updated policy.
